Pet Adoptions

When you adopt a pet, you save a life.

As a veterinary hospital, Healing Springs is not licensed to adopt out pets. However, we do everything possible to facilitate adoptions between people and other organizations licensed for pet adoptions.

Healing Springs constantly works with various organizations and individuals to save pets destined for euthanasia at our local shelter or otherwise facing a certain end. We provide complimentary services and boarding to orphan pets so they can have increased opportunity to get adopted. Here are some of the pets you can meet at Healing Springs and adopt from their organizations: Photo Album

In our lobby, we keep a book of pets up for adoption from other people or organizations. If you are looking for a new addition to your family and want to save a life, please also visit the animal shelter weekly. In 2004 alone, the Galax-Carroll-Grayson Animal Shelter had to euthanize 2,653 dogs and cats. (Read More) Almost 90% of dogs and cats taken to the Galax-Carroll-Grayson Animal Shelter are euthanized.
